Job Description:

Medical Group has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified psychiatrist in our Santa Clarita office located in the greater Los Angeles area. We are seeking a psychiatrist interested in a career with a multi-specialty group, treating primary care-referred patients.

• You will see about 14-16 adult patients per day depending on mix of new and follow-up patients.
• Office & telemedicine combination (hybrid schedule offered but there will be weekly in-office work required)
• Hours are generally Monday-Friday 8-5 (minus half-day off per week). There is also rotating coverage within division for patient calls after hours and on weekends. Currently no inpatient on-call.
• Patient population be mostly senior HMO.
• Schedule is Monday-Friday with one half day off during the week.
• Experience with telehealth visits is highly desirable. Generally, our psychiatrists practice the consultative approach to behavioral health, with stabilized patients being referred back to their primary care physician for continued medication management. Our behavioral medicine division offers many innovative approaches to care delivery, which will utilize your clinical skills to advance the mental health care of our patient population. Experience with telehealth visits is highly desirable. We offer a very competitive salary of $320-350K and full benefit package that includes medical/dental, life & disability insurance, and a very generous retirement plan.
